We have been supplying to many retailers through out Australia for
the last 12 years. In all Major Super Markets, Garden warehouses in
VICTORIA, NEW SOUTH WALES, QUEENSLAND "Senarath Lanka" products are sold under different labels. Establishing a branch in Australia was a move to interface with our end users directly. This also provide the chance for importers to communicate their requirements with us more efficiently to build long term business relationships.

We have no middlemen in our business. We purchase raw materials from our suppliers or we produce our raw materials. We produce the products in our factory. We are continuously monitoring our processes to
improve quality and decrease overhead costs. This is why we are able

* Where does "Senarath Lanka" get their raw materials ?

We are a family business situated in the heart of "Ccoconut Triangle"
in North Western Province of Sri Lanka. Coconuts are grown as estates
or by individuals. Coconut husk chips are delivered to our factory
after removing the coconut where we use them for our raw material
production. As we are situated and using the coconut grown well inside
the coastal area our products do not have the excessive salt issue.

* What is the business capacity to produce 40 ft container ?

Our production time to produce 5kg cocopeat blocks 40 ft container is
3-4 days with 2 shifts a day. With a single shift a day we are able to
produce a 40 ft container with in 6-7 days. We are able to produce
4.5kg coconut husk chip blocks also adhering to above time.

Note:- Above times may differ due to raw materials availability due to
rainy season.

* How does "Senarath Lanka" mitigate risks with regards to weather
affecting delivery on time?

We usually store raw materials for 2 containers in our warehouse which
is about 40,000kg to mitigate any weather related delays. We also have
a good network of raw material suppliers with our generations of
experience in the trade to minimize any delays.
