Our business is primary production of merino sheep, wool and agro-forestry timber products. The farm is situated on the Central East Coast of Australia in the New England Region. The business is family owned and was established in 1840.
Sustainable land and business management philosophies are key to our business producing consistent high quality sheep and wool products for over 150 years. Our farm forestry timber production is small in comparison and began in 2005. We are averaging 120 m3 of sawn pine timber products yearly and are looking for opportunities to add value to this sustainable production line that already includes treated, landscape, structural and furniture grade sawn pine products.
Yearly we produce on average 15, 000kgs of soft handling 17. 5 micron merino wool. As a cooperative under the 'Taylors Run' brand we have capabilities of supplying over 40, 000kgs of fine merino wool and have done so in previous contracts with Italian spinners.
