Urea Supplier = Manufacturer = No agent chain
Direct contact between Buyer and Supplier/manufacturer after basic terms = price, contract terms and conditions have been agreed
Prices depend on final destination and quantity purchased.
Trial shipments are possible.
No sample sending. No sanitized B/Ls or SGS certificates. No bank-to-bank POF/POP procedure.
After all terms and conditions have been agreed in writing and before the buyer countersigns the contract, a vessel name can be provided for the buyer to personally verify the fact via Lloyds Register that the seller is actually currently selling and shipping Urea.
!!!! Any possible buyer should note that the contract will include a penalty clause of 5-10% of total contract value for non-performance on both sides. !!!!!
Once the contract is signed from both sides, the clock starts to tick, ie in case the payment instrument is not provided on time, the buyer will find himself in court in Geneva for non-performance of contract.
So far, the seller did not loose any such cases.
For intermediaries: The max commission paid is 2$/MT. No kick-backs !!!!!!!
