The Metalcorte Group was founded in 1992 with the purpose of offering high-quality raw-materials for the metal-mechanical industry. With a diversified line of flat ferrous and non-ferrous metals, as well as services in longitudinal and transversal cuts, the company has truly set up a center where solutions are devised for its customers.
The Flat Steels Unit supplies longitudinal and transversal cuts by means of rotating scissors, blanking presses and uncoiling machines that guarantee agility and productivity to customers.
In May 2003, the company expanded its line of products through the Foundry Unit, which produces and commercializes machined cast iron for the automotive, road equipment and farming sectors. In 2004, the Motors Unit became part of the Metalcorte Group, which manufactures low-tension electric induction motors. The parts are used in the steel and iron industry and in equipment in general such as operating machines.
