Founded in 1963, as a small foundry, Schulz quickly devised its own lines and, in 1972, started producing air compressors. The first two models produced at the time have turned into the most complete line in the Southern Hemisphere.

In just 10 years, Schulz achieved the absolute leadership in the Brazilian market and the positions of Latin America s biggest air compressor manufacturer. However, the company wanted more. After 6 years of international activities, Schulz products were exported to all Latin America and the United States.

The line of screw compressors was launched in 1989 and its high technology qualified the company to compete for market with the world s biggest brands. In 1990, aware of the globalization, the company completely restructured its plant in order to meet international norms, always investing in new technologies and markets.

To improved its logistics system in Latin America and in the American market, Schulz created Schulz of America, Inc., located in Atlanta, Georgia. Schulz industrial complex has a built area of 62 thousand square meters and 1.200 workers, manufacturing the most complete compressor lines in the brazilian market, ranging from the HP diaphragm compressor, to piston compressors and to the 250 HP screw compressors. Schulz air receivers are manufacturing according to the most rigorous quality standards, meeting the norm requirements of ASME, U and UM Stamps.

Schulz is not only concerned with the quality of its products, but also with quality of life. This is the reason why all its production line is equipped with a modern exhaust system and treatment of pollutants, following the most rigorous environmental controls. Such facts have allowed Schulz to receive some of the most important international certifications, such as ISO 9001 and ISO 9002 / QS9000, granted by BVQI (Bureau Veritas Quality International), with accreditations of INMETRO from Brazil, ANSI-RAB from the United States and RVA from Holland.
