Laser and Optical Technologies (LOT) is the biggest Bulgarian manufacturer of precise optical and laser components in Sofia, Bulgaria. Established in 1970 as State Research institute of optics we became a private company in 1999. The efficient use of equipment, highly skilled staff and expertise accumulated for 30 years of research and development helped us to establish state-of-the-art optical manufacturing and to meet growing demands for precision optics in Bulgaria and abroad. In this way the potential of the business management has been brought together with the skills of experienced workforce, with the resources of specialized and in many instances unique equipment and with the purpose-built premises
LOT produces wide range of optical components for applications from UV to NIR spectral regions, from single lenses to assemblies. Control of quality is carried out during all manufacturing stages and all our products meet international standards requirements.

Our engineers gained their degrees in optics, electrical engineering or physics from universities in Germany, Russia and Bulgaria.
We have strong business net and a lot of our own warehouses in Bulgaria and in some of the neighbouring countries.
As we have informed you, we want to diversify our range of products and for this purpose to introduce your photovoltaic products to the new market for the region, to establish and impose ourselves as reliable supplier in Balkan region for such systems.

We are preparing experienced personal and we are in close contact with our partners in Technical University in Sofia. We hope to introduce andl develop this new item in our market, which presently is really small, but promissing with large potential. . We suggest, as a first step in our future business relation to begin with photovoltaic modules for total capacity 100 kW. We will need a period of about 1-3 months technical time until we prepare the necessary organisation that will enable us to assemble the your PH modules to complete photovoltaic systems and Balance systems products, according to our customer's requirements. .
