Established in 1957 in prince george, BC on a fresh water spring, pacific western brewing co. (pwb) is western canada's largest independent canadian-owned brewery.
Our quality guarantee
In 1994, pacific western became the first North American brewery to achieve ISO certification. In 1996, pwb became the first brewery to achieve the certification of ISO 9002, the highest level of excellence necessary from the brewing industry set forth by the most respected quality assurance program in the world. In 1997 pwb made the first certified organic lager beer in Canada

Pacific western brewing is proud to be the first Canadian brewery to produce a 100% certified organic beer. ISO 9002 quality assurance combined with our naturally purified spring water provides a clean natural taste, the distinctive characteristic of all our beers. Pacific western brewing is an experienced exporter and supplier of private brand beers. We are #3 in Japan, behind heineken and budweiser.
