La Fortuna (Lontue Valley, Chile) exists since 1870 and the Guell family owns and operates the estate since 1942, making single vineyard wines using only our own hand picked grapes.
We were the first vineyard in Chile to transition to organic in 1997. Today and 14 years later, we are certified 100% organic by IMO Switzerland and also Fairtrade by FLO CERT Germany.
We have the broadest range of organic wine in Chile, including Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Carmenere, Merlot and Syrah. Also sparkling wine (methode traditionnelle and charmat) and Chile's only 100% sulfite-free premium wine range.
We believe our terroir is sustained by viticulture that values and respects biodiversity; the natural habitat of plants, insects and other living beings. We do not introduce or remove species that originally inhabit the vineyards perfect ecosystem.
Our philosophy is simple: we produce delicious wines in nature's complete balance and harmony.
