About Us
ASIMCO Group focuses on developing, manufacturing and distributing friction materials and auto spare parts. Nowadays, all products of ASIMCO are managed in global market by the authorized company - A-MAP. ASIMCO now has more than 12,050 brake products which cover most of the worlds' famous brand automobile tyres. We, A-Map Trading L.L.C Shanghai Representative Office, as part of A-MAP Group, are the authorized sales office for ASIMCO brakes in Shanghai, China. Apart from our manufacture factory, we're the specialized export department which mainly focuses on developing oversea markets for ASIMCO brakes and deals with customers' reception from Shanghai part.
Our Factory
Our factory is located in the south part of China, Guangdong Province, and has a history of over 25 years as a professional producer in friction material industry. Early in 1997 and 1999, our factory acquired ISO9002 and QS9000/IQS9001 certifications by TUV Rheinland Aniagetechnik GmbH, and was the earliest manufacturer to pass such quality system certifications in the friction material field. Our building area is 48,000 square meters. We have over 600 employees, 90 engineers, and most importantly, a 25 people R&D team along with a complete lab system, which contains 5 parts including the chemical and material lab, formula forming lab, sample testing group, test work shop and assembly test lab. With these rich resources, we're able to develop our own semi-metal, low metal and NAO formulas for ASIMCO products.
Our Products
ASIMCO brakes include ASIMCO disk brake pads, ASIMCO drum brake shoes, and ASIMCO brake linings. ASIMCO is registered as an international brand to be sold in the international market only. They are the products of years' hard work and the greatest efforts of all our staff. We follow the target of "safety, integrity and perfectness", take customers' requirements as our lead and strictly carry out ISO/TES16949 quality management system control standard. We are seeking to satisfy or exceed our customers' requirements in every stage during production plan process, development and batch production. Within the short 6 years, our brand has grown into a quite mature one in the Middle East, CIS and Africa, owing to the following characters of ASIMCO brakes:
1> Product features:
Excellent braking effectiveness;
Steady friction coefficient under elevated temperature;
Long service life;
Low noise emitting and rotor abrasiveness;
Keeping cleanness of wheels;
2>Quality control standards:
For our quality control standards, we use Link Chase Testing Method for the testing of all ASIMCO products. In 1997 and 1999, we acquired ISO9002 and QS9000/ISO9002 certifications by TUV/Rheinland Aniagentechnik GmbH; in 2005, we acquired ISO/TS16949:2002 certification. Also we have achieved quality certification from Greening Incorporated Michigan/the USA, which allows us to sell ASIMCO brake pads in North American markets.
3> Production capacity:
With several high precision cutting machines and complete sets of shaping, milling, laying, wielding and drilling equipment, our new model development capacity is 20 pieces to 50 pieces per month. With several automatically wielding machines imported from Great British Federal, ASIMCO has already been the biggest production base for drum brake shoe wielding in Asia-Pacific Region. Our yearly production capacity has achieved 5,000,000 sets of disk brake pads, 2,000,000 sets of drum brake shoes, 4000 tons of drum brake linings, and 80,000,000 pieces of back metal plates.
