Based in Beijing, we were founded in 2000 by a designer - Simon Wang Xin and his partner - Ding Ning. Dedicated to designing, manufacturing and distributing modern furniture, we provide unique synergy combining designs, craftsmanship and a way of life (old and new, classic and innovative and international and Chinese).
We have our own brand, "ACF", which creates a number of opportunities for meaning, and each letter provides a key which will allow an entry into the design platform. A is for Aesthetics, Art and Alternation; C is for Culture, Contemporary times and Creation; F is for Functionality, Form and Fun. These descriptive characteristics are the means of formulating the partners' intentions. They are also designed to be provokingly thought for designers, providing many possible concepts into future design of ACF. At the same time, we redefine the design via our individual creation.
ACF aims to build a collection of extraordinary products, nurtures a pool of brilliant designers and provides a statement about furniture as cultural commentary, a medium and a way of life. We take the production and distribution with our own hands, being unique in our contextual approach towards design, culture and furniture.
We formed ACF retail brand and set up the first store in Beijing's Contemporary Art Zone 798. We will also launch many exciting new items through cooperation with our guest designers, namely Antonio Picardo from Venezuela, Yeh Yuxuan from Taipei (was nominated for the 2008 Red dot awards), Tony Brown from Canada, Li Jiwei, the sculpture designer who worked on the Water Cube project for the Beijing Olympics and many others. We are really looking forward to introducing them to you and broad designers in China.
