Calintech (short form of ZHUHAI S.E.Z. Calintech Electric Co., Ltd.) is specialized in the design, development, manufacturing and supply of electronic energy meters, founded in 1990, subordinate to CATIC Group - China Aero-Technology Import & Export Corporation (CATIC - Zhuhai).
Our company started as a joint venture company, of which the main shareholding is state investment. Our company has been developing rapidly. Our products cover a family of meters to meet the increasing market demands at home and abroad. We have been providing our clients with all kinds of meters with electrical energy measurement total solutions, including single phase meters, prepaid kWh meters, three phase meters and three phase multi-function meters, with data logging and management software and AMR (automatic meter reading) systems.
Our company has our own R&D institute, with a team of hardware & software engineers who have ten years of experience in development and innovation to create high quality, reliable and cost effective products. Our products have entered into the commercial and residential electricity metering markets, not only in Southern China, but also in Northern China, where the temperature would be minus 40 degrees.
Moreover, since 1995, our company, under the support of foreign investor - Indian GVR Company and close cooperation with Shanghai Electric Meter Works, has been developing a variety of electronic energy meters to meet various kinds of demands from at home and abroad.
Our company manufactures all products in our manufacturing premises located in Zhuhai S.E.Z. (Special Economic Zone) - a seaside garden city neighboring to Macao and Hong Kong as well. Our company has a manufacturing building of 5,000 square meters, with annual output of more than 600,000pcs.
By the accumulation of high technology and international experience, our company has performed as Shanghai Electric Meter Works Zhuhai Branch, passed all kinds of severe meter tests and inspections and successfully supplied various electronic meters to India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Indonesia and Kyrgyzstan since the 1990s.
Our company has been independently supplying prepaid static meters with tariff function to Egypt and Thailand. Our target is supplying high quality meters to our customers, never leaving any defective meters in our users. Our products are in compliance with ISO9001:2000 standards.
We are fully aware of the importance of static meters as metrology instruments.
Quality assurance is to be made in each step from meter design, development, component selection, PCB surface mounting, meter assembly, calibration, aging to testing. The most advanced facilities, production techniques and testing consoles also enhance our quality of products and services.
