Nanjing Pellet Mill Co., Ltd. (NPM) is a modern enterprise specialized in the design, manufacture, installation and after-sales service of machinery and production lines which are used in the biomass pellet industry. Our office is located in Jiangsu, a city in Southeast China.

Our company is one of the first Chinese companies to initiate our own research capability in biomass pellet technology. Due to a lack of experience in biomass pelletization, most Chinese companies are completely dependent on outdated technology derived from machinery designed to produce grain feed. Disadvantages of these machines include high speed of rotation, low output, low pellet density, high mechanical loss and high manufacturing cost. Some of these problems persist within the industry in China today. After eight years of repeated testing and discussions, NPM Group has successfully adjusted the main structure, greatly improved the ring die and compression roller, and made considerable gains in the lubrication and transmission systems, thereby greatly enhancing the durability and efficiency in the pelletization process. With these improvements as a basis, our group has developed a complete biomass pellet plant which is able to process sawdust, wood chips, straw and other biomass materials into pellet fuel. Pellets produced by the newly engineered plant are denser, more uniform in length and more lustrous and have fewer flaws, with technical specifications compliant with international standards.

Our group is now a leader in biomass pellet technology in China, possessing five national inventive patents and over 20 utility model patents.

Our group now has large mold forging workshops, the most advanced ring die vacuum quenching furnace in China and a complete production chain consisting of several auxiliary equipment manufacturers. Coinciding with these developments, Nanjing Pellet Mill Co., Ltd. has assembled a first-rate team to help inexperienced clients in the field to conduct independent production. Our group also helps clients design their production lines specifically to their required output, raw material usage, and site conditions with our complete service package of project assessment, installation, training and maintenance.
