Chongqing Special Electric Motor Factory Co., Ltd. (formerly Chongqing Special Motors Plant) was founded in 1950. As a leading manufacturer of special motors under the management of the former Ministry of Machine Building, our company manufactures medium and small ex-proof motors, motors for cranes and metallurgy, Y-series motors and multi-speed and variable-frequency speed-control motors.
Our company covers a total area of 60,000 square meters, including 54,000 square meters of housing area, and has 1,080 persons including 125 engineers, among whom 72 are intermediate and senior-level engineers. Our company has our own research institute for special motors and test center, engaged in conducting product research and development. CAD software is used for the entire process from electromagnetic design to structure design in order to ensure high efficiency and precision. Our company has passed ISO9001:2000 quality certification and has been granted the license for producing ex-proof motors. The products have been tested and certified by the State Electrical Product Quality Center and the MA Safety Sign for Coal Mining Industry.
