Our Company Structure
Established in 1998, Pinku Design is a China subsidiary of the Design Ideas USA. We provide services in product development, manufacturing, QA/QC, and export and import logistic management.
Design Ideas USA was founded in 1983 by Andy Van Meter upon a million-dollar idea. A wire shower tote for college dormitories at Stanford University campus. This stylish and functional product soon had success in the college bookstore market throughout the USA. Today, under the slogan, We make things interesting, Design Ideas US creates, manufactures and globally markets a full range of functional, fashion-forward, and affordable home and office accessories that appeal to a broad range of design-conscious consumers. Our design
The design team in Design Ideas USA spends much of time and energy searching for new ways, new forms, and new materials - to express timeless sentiments, to celebrate time-honored seasons, and to organize an office or home.
At Pinku Design, we produce more than 1000 new product SKUs every year.
Our Products
We explore new ideas and various materials (steel and tin, expanded cold roll steel mesh, wires, wood, MDF, glass, bamboo, paper board) to make the following product categories
Home and office organization
Storage and studio furniture
Tabletop and bathroom accessories
Home decoration, holidays and gifts
Our Customers
Our products sells to retailers around the world, such as Target, Crate & Barrel, The Container Store, Bed Bath & Beyond, Staples, MOMA , Bank of China, Vanke Real Estate, Alibaba and thousands of independent stores.
Our FOB China Pricing
Our mission is to make high quality and delightful designs affordable to everyone. In order to serve medium and small sized retail customers, Design Ideas/Pinku Design will sell direct from China port to our customers around the world, except for the North America. This will significantly reduce the logistic cost and give our customers the flexibility in minimum quantity and volume.
Our Production Capacity
We accomplish our creative designs and quality criteria through hundreds of vendors whose expertise extends from metal forming to bio-plastic injection. In 2010, we shipped goods worth of 15 million US$ to the North America market. We offer flexible minimum quantity to distributors and retailers to non-North America markets.
Our Professional Team
Our China team consists of 10 project engineers, 10 QC inspectors, 10 logistic specialists, 100 - 200 production line workers, and other 15 administrative and management staff.
Our QA/QC System
We were built on the quality control services for the Design Ideas US in 1998. Our core business today still lies in the daily task of QA/QC in production process.
Our Safety Test
We ensure product comply with all US and European regulations.
Our Social Responsibility and Compliance
We ensure our product to be ethically manufactured in a safe work environment.
Our Intellectual property
Our designs are original and are protected by the copy laws around the world. We insure our products do not violate intellectual property laws.
