NINGBO CARRY specializes in producing export quality tooling designed and manufactured to world-class standards. Located only one hour drive from the Ningbo International Airport, we operate a modern 2,300 square meter factory employing a staff of 100 moldmakers and design engineers.
Our tools range from a few kilos up to 14 tons in size. They vary in complexity from simple open and shut molds to complicated hot runners, valve gates, and automatic unscrewing. Typical applications include automotive, home appliances, electronic components and enclosures, furniture, farm equipment, and more.
Our molds are designed with an emphasis on mechanical reliability and ease of processing. According to your preference, we will employ standard mold components of your choice, such as D-M-E, Hasco, or more economical choices made in China. Tool steels are available in a range from prototype grade up through fully hardened H-13 (HRC 46-48) and 420 ESR stainless (HRC 52-54).
We have most popular CAD software, and where necessary translate from databases using neutral files such as step, parasolid, and iges.
Mold layouts are furnished for approval prior to the start of cutting steel. Once manufacturing is underway, we routinely email digital photos of your job so you can track progress and have confidence that we will meet our delivery commitment.
All our molds are tested to production standards, and a digital movie of the test is furnished along with first article samples to confirm that the tooling is production ready. In every case, molds are shipped only after our customer has approved the first articles.
