Chongqing Hengtong Bus Co., Ltd. (state-owned) is the main subsidiary of Chongqing Bus General Manufactory.
We are currently one of the largest bus producers in China. Established in 1939, Hengtong has been in the leading position of China's bus industry for more than 60 years. We produced China's first self-designed bus - "Jiefang type" bus in 1950. Hengtong has also been the first one to design and produce alternative fuel buses since 1950's. Besides being the top-grade city bus producer in China, Hengtong is also a leading alternative fuel (Mainly CNG / LNG) bus producer in Asia.
