Cola Cao Food Co. Ltd. is GRUPO NUTREXPA's subsidiary company in China. GRUPO NUTREXPA is a Spanish food producer founded in 1946 and headquartered in Barcelona,Spain.
NUTREXPA was founded in Spain in 1946 and in the beginning, produced the highly nutritional Cola Cao beverage. The product became fashionable in Spain soon after its launching. During the following half century, the company has grown up rapidly and became very important in the Spanish food industry. The ex Chairman of the International Olympic Committee Mr. Samaranch was invited to attend the opening ceremony. From then on, Cola Cao started its career in China.

In order to satisfy the demand of the growing market, NUTREXPA decided to increase the capital investment unilaterally in 1993. The ex prime-minister of Spain, Mr. Gonzalez, attended the signing ceremony. In 1998, a modernized food factory, with a floorage of approximately 20 thousand square meters, was opened with the most advanced facilities and techniques in the Nutrexpa Group. The new factory has 3 different production lines which can greatly increase the production and the variety of products produced.
