In 2008, ARCHOS launched the first generation of connected Internet Tablets with 5 inch and 7 inch models, and then the first ever Android powered tablets were launched in 2009.
In 2010, ARCHOS was the first company to launch a range of 5 Android tablets including 2 revolutionary products: ARCHOS 28 Internet Tablet which is the first Android MP3/MP4 player of less than USD100, and ARCHOS 101 Internet tablet which is the first 10 inch Android tablet weighing less than 500 grams.
