Emdexpar has within its expectations to 50% increase in consumption of pineapple on the European continent, marketing (Ananas comosus) from the city of Villavicencio, capital of the department of Meta in Colombia.

EXPORT POLICY:
The most important step you can take Colombia to globalization is an FTA with the European Union, which has 27 member states, 500 million inhabitants and is the biggest exporter and the second largest importer of goods in the world.
If all goes well, the negotiation of a Free Trade Agreement (FTA) between Colombia and the European Union. Its completion would be very good for the country for one simple reason: The Colombian economy is far behind in its process of internationalization and an FTA with the European Union would mean an important step to regain some lost ground.
To some it may sound strange that the country is in arrears in its internationalization process, given that Colombian exports tripled in the last seven years. Well, this dynamic was almost the same as world exports were in the same period, which means that Colombia was more or less where it was: between the anger of Latin America.
