MICRORISC s.r.o. is a Czech (EU) company (Ltd) majoring in import, distribution and development of electronic components and modules. Our R&D department performs research and development, we focus on wireless communications for building automation and telemetry (the IQRF platform). We also realize custom development of electronic applications especially for the automobile industry.
History of the MICRORISC brand began in 1991 when MICRORISC Technology spol. s r.o.was founded. It was the first Czech manufacturer of remotely controlled car alarms with floating codes. Today's MICRORISC s.r.o. was founded in 1999 by the capital restructuring of the group of production and trade MICRORISC companies and consolidated the complete business activities of the holding. The production part has been sold.
MICRORISC s.r.o. has strictly focused on research, development and distribution of electronic
components and modules since 2000.
MICRORISC s.r.o.is one of the leading technological firms in this branch. As for the level of invention and number of patents (Czech as well as EU and US), it belongs to the most successful ones by all means.
In 2003 MICRORISC s.r.o. received acknowledgement from Mr Hisashi Hirabayashi, the President of Fujitsu in person as the most rapidly growing European distributor, and in early 2008 it counted among the TOP 5 Fujitsu partners in EU.
In autumn 2003 MICRORISC s.r.o. became the Microchip Sales Representative for the Czech and Slovak markets. During the first four years of market expansion thanks to the top support of our customers and partners, the Microchip turnover increased for several times exceeding the 5 million USD border in 2007.
However, for MICRORISC and its management there are not only self-evident good results and
continual improvement of all company processes and the complete quality management system
(certified according the ISO9001:2000) but a permanent improvement of labour conditions and
last but not least a support of local cultural and sport activities.
For distribution, MICRORISC s.r.o. focuses on the support of superior quality components by several reputable manufacturers which we directly represent. This specialization helps us to enable excellent support for all represented product lines.
