THE ANDES FASHION (trade mark) is an eco-chic, fair trade and ethical brand, made in Ecuador with love for the world. Knowing the real problems of our people. Mirta Evi, founder & designer launched the brand to help raise funds for social and environmental issues. We donate 15% of their profits to Yasuni-ITT (an Ecuadorian's government program to promote to keep the oil underground in the Yasuni National Park and avoid with this, the emission of 400 million tons of CO2 into the atmosphere, also in this incredible place many scientific from all over the world, started finding the possible cures for disease as cancer and HIV) and we also gives 10% for scholarships to people who need it. This project is executed with the help of "JUAN LANDETA" FOUNDATION of Ecuador. The foundation is specialized in educational and healthy issues.Our designs are made with eco, organic and recycled fibers and materials. The company works with over 200 families of artisans, located all over of Ecuador, the artisans are specialized in different materials and design areas according their experiences and skills. THE ANDES FASHION works practicing the Fair Trade rules to bring a positive change for the artisans and the payment of fair wedges to ensure a better life style.THE ANDES FASHION takes inspiration from brands we love and to create something truly unique.
