Founded in 1979 at Cairo, Egypt. By Engineer Ahmed El Sokkary first working as general contractors building residential projects then developing tourism facilities, construction and ownership of hotels and resorts thus needing a trading company to supply materials needed. Later other branches were established first in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia then in the state of Qatar and the UAE, recently we have established two other branches in the United Kindom and in Canada.
Through out our 30 years since established we have accomplished many large scale projects such as hospitals, schools, factories, government facilities and many worldwide chain hotels such as 'Hilton' and 'LeMeridien' and others, other than the group owned hotels & resorts in Egypt, which has granted us Class"A" listing in Egypt qualifying us to contracts of a value higher than 100 Million EGP. Meanwhile supplying all the needs for building and finishing through our trading companies whilst distributing in the Egyptian and International markets as well, however the activity of the group has been shifted slightly more towards Trade throughout the years, while still keeping our reputable name in construction. Thus dividing the group 'Sokkary-Group' into another subsidiary group 'Evolution Trading Group' specialized in General Trading and Import & Export which consists of 'Evolution Trading Est. ' (Egypt) , 'EC Evolution Trading Corp. Ltd' (Canada) and 'ETAC Qatar Cons. Ltd' (Qatar) .
