Hewan Tegegn General Export was established in 1999 with a capital 3,500,000 Eth birr(400,000 USD) to play a big role in exporting Coffee and Sesame seeds as well as working on forwarding and clearing goods from the port of Djibouti. Our annual turnover in 2004 was close to one million dollar and in 2005, we expect this to rise by 30%.
Currently with five years under our belt exporting Coffee and Sesame seeds, we can expand our stream of activities in Transportation business from Djibouti to Addis Ababa.
Up to now we managed to export Coffee to Italy and UK and Sesame seeds to Cairo and Dubai (to certain extent). We have the best quality of sesame seeds in the country.
