Online job applications become more and more important. According to survey from the Centre of Human Resources Information almost two-thirds of all vacancies are announced in online job portals.
According to this nearly two-thirds all new employments result from vacancies on the internet. This is similar to major European enterprises.
According to this survey 70 percent of all vacancies are announced on the internet. 56 percent auf all employments can be trace back to online job announcements. Also more and more applicants use the internet: companies stated that more then 60 percent of all applications received came via internet. 1000 major enterprises in Europe where polled for this survey. But Watch out, your own web presentation, as well as private states in blogs and forums can influence your job application. Around 70 percent of all personnel consultant stated that they have used the internet to check data about applications more often. 28 percent declared they use the internet to find additional informations about possible candidates. Our advice: Take time for your profile, insert as much information as possible and use a good image.
