The company was founded in 1977, under the brand name ?Dramytinos Michael &SIA E.E.?, by Mr. Dramytinos. In 1985, it was decided the foundation of a new company (as a result of a merger) under the brand name ?PROMOTA HELLAS S.A.?. The new company has, since then, its headquarters at Glyfada and since 1999 has, also its own warehouses at Aspropyrgos. Today, the Company has also its own offices at Hong Kong, Shanghai, Canton and Seoul.
In August of 1999 PROMOTA made its application to the Athens Stock Exchange and it, already, has the approval of the Capital Market Committee since 14/9/2000. PROMOTA HELLAS S.A. will be the first company, in this specific business field in Europe that it will enter a Stock Market. A sort look in its financial results the last 3 years will show that our company grows fast. In 1998 the turnover was 13.509.000 ?, in 1999 it was 16.214.000 ? and in 2000 it was 18.782.000 ?. The earnings before taxes were 1.412.000 ?, 1.913.000 ? and 2.585.000 ? respectively.
