RURAL AUTO started in March 29 th 1981, at Sundernagar, Jameshedpur. With interest of M / S TATA MOTORS Jamshedpur to upgrade villagers in their RURAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME, Works shifted at SIR J. J. GHANDY NAGR, P. O. GADRA, JAMSHEDPUR. November 9 th 1981. Its distance from TATA MOTORS just 3KM & located at pollution free area.
RURAL AUTO initially started business as JOB WORKER to TATA MOTORS for WIRE HARNESSING (the only source) . After increasing its business growth, in August 24th 1983, COMPANY INCORPORATED in the name of M / S RURAL AUTO ELECTRO MANUFACTURING COMPANY PRIVATE LIMITED and its Regd. Office at 21 Prafulla Sarkar Street, KOLKATA-700 072. In March 30th 1985, Company declared as an ANCILLARY to TATA MOTORS. To help the growth of the company and support TATA MOTORS, and unit in LUCKNOW was opened in the year of 1995, to cater wire harness support in regular basis. Both units are CERTIFIED ISO 9001: 2000 Company for WIRE HARNESS (Jamshedpur and Lucknow) .
