KHET-SE AGRI PRODUCE INDIA PVT LTD

Khet-Se Agriproduce (P) Ltd. , a 50 / 50 joint venture company of Tata Chemicals Limited (TCL) and Total Produce PLC (TOTAL PRODUCE) , has been launched to create state-of-the-art distribution facilities for fresh fruit and vegetables across India, by leveraging the individual strengths of both partners. Khet-Se Agriproduce bridges the gap between producer and end consumer, which will significantly increase efficiencies, improve shelf-life and reduce product loss in the supply chain. It will help Indian farmers to improve their incomes and develop the skills needed to raise the quality of Indian farm produce.
Khet-Se Agriproduce has a state-of-the art centre in Punjab, which has the facility of sorting, grading and packing of all fresh produce; 4 Ripening Chambers of 10 MT capacity each (to ripen fruits like Banana) and 4 Cold Storages of 25 MT each.
The company has sourcing centers spread across India in the key fruit and vegetable growing belts. The fruits and vegetables are brought by the farmers from the farm to the Khet-Se Centers. At the centre the produce is sorted, graded, washed, cleaned, weighed, packed, ripened and pre-cooled.
As a part of our procurement strategy, we have tied up with farmers in various parts of the country for products of importance. Accordingly we have worked with farmer groups in Nasik and have organized Global Gap certification as PMO for Grape. These farmers would be ready with their produce in February and March. We would like to explore the possibilities of exporting the production of these farmers especially products like Thomson seedless and Black seedless Grapes and Pomegranates.
