We introduce ourselves as Jindal Steel & Power Limited India, part of US$ 2 billion dollars Jindal Group.

Jindal Steel and Power Limited commissioned up a state of art Rail & Universal Beam Rolling Mill at its Integrated Steelworks at Raigarh in state of Chhattisgarh, India in the beginning of 2003 that has been producing and supplying following to various national and international clients :

Parallel Flange Beams and Columns as per Indian as well European / British specifications: (200mm to 700mm and 150mm to 300mm respectively)
Indian Channels : ISMC 250 and 300
Crane Rails : CR 80 & CR 100
Rails : UIC 60, IRS 52Kg

JSPL has today many distinctions such as Worlds largest producer of coal based Sponge Iron, Indias only producer of Parallel Flange Beams & Columns as per Indian as well as international standards, and producer of worlds longest finished length rails in 120 meters length.

It shall kindly be noted that the steel produced at Jindal Steel and Power Limited is through Electric Arc Furnace route followed by Ladle Refining as per steel specification requirements capable of meeting all grades for structural steel in normal to high tensile grade from 250mpa to 450mpa yield strengths in normal weldable qualities like EN 10025 S275 JR, ASTM A 36, St 44.2, and High tensile
grades such as ASTM A 572 Gr 50, EN 10025 S355JR, and other equivalent international grades.
To bring about international quality levels in our product, JSPL has entered into a technical collaboration with M/s. JFE Corporation (earlier known as NKK Corporation) of Japan.

In this regard, please find enclosed our current size range. In case of any other specific size requirements, the same can be considered.

We would like to bring to your notice that our mill has produced about 2,50,000 MT of these H sections and Rails till date, since its inception in Q1 2003. We have been supplying these sections not only to all major Public Sector Units and Private sector undertakings in India, but also to many reputed customers in Middle-East and S.E. Asia. Our plant is accredited with both ISO:9001 and ISO 14001 certifications for production of structurals and rails.

It may further be noted that addition of many Beam and Column sections and UIC 54 Rail profile, besides upgradation of packaging and marking facilities at the mill is on the cards for year 2005-06.
