Prior to creating Omuru, the founder Mr R. Raghavan, trained in Japan, worked at top management level in charge of production and planning in a precision electrical product manufacturing firm. Earlier in his 12 year Marine career, he worked as Chief Engineer with Indian and European Shipping Companies. In 1987 the Council of Engineering Institutions awarded him the status of Chartered Engineer. He is also a Founder-Director of one of the ISO 9000 certified Custom-built Component Manufacturing unit.
