Shahid Ghandi Telecommunication Cable Company a subsidiary of PTT, was set up in Yazd-Iran in 1985 with the goal to attain industrial self sufficiency to meet the growing needs of the telecommunication network of the country.
The construction of the plant was started in April 1988 however, phase one, Optical Fiber Cable mass production was implemented in February of the subsequent year and phase two, Copper Cable mass production was put into operation in 1990.
Phase three, which is indeed the expansion of phase two is now in operation which makes the total annual capacity of the plant 8000 MCM copper cables and 8000 Km optical fiber cables.
All the production units of the plant apply the most modern technology and are equipped with advance machineries which are being operated by Iranian experts.

The Quality Control unit is one of the most important part of our factory. It utilizes the best machineries and equipments to carry out the final stage of production, the testing of every product, with care and regard to the international standard.
Shahid Ghandi Telecommunication Cable Company is awarded with ISO 9001 by SGS International Certification S~AG for designing and manufacturing communication cables in form of copper and optical fiber cables.
ISO 9001 is bestowed on those manufacturing firms that are producing the best of quality products. In fact, ISO 9001 is a certificate which opens the doors for export of SGCC products; it is an international recognition for producing quality manufactured goods.
Shahid Ghandi's products vary in type, thus they cover a wide range of usage in tele-communication projects.
