Since more than 50 years Caseificio Preziosa Srl is one of the most known Italian mozzarella maker.
The company is located in north of Italy, near the airport of Bergamo-Milan Orio al Serio
The secret to make the authentic italian mozzarella is the use of fresh milk from 100% local collection as well as the traditional way of production.
The result is a mozzarella with a natural softness and a very delicate taste.
Our production is recognized by the competent health authorities.
The company obtained in 2001 the UNI ENI ISO 9001 certification.
In order to answer to the requests of authentic italian mozzarella in the world our facilities include also a line to freeze at -35 our fresh products.
The rapid deep freezing (1 hour) allows cold to penetrate quickly into mozzarella with the result of small crystals of ice inside the product.
On the contrary the freezing in a normal freezer takes long time (a day) to bring the product at -20 with the consequence of big crystals of ice inside the product with loss of texture, nutrition values, and flavor.
Thanks to a shelf life of 12 months our frozen mozzarella can be delivered everywhere in the world and once defrost it is same as just made with a natural softness and a delicate taste.
