Cantine Lebovitz is an historic winery company based in Italy, in the Mantuan territory, Governolo, producing the typical and unique Lambrusco Mantovano D.O.C. The winery is located in the Mantuan territory, Governolo, in the verdant Po Valley area, through which the Mincio and Po rivers flow; the proximity of these two important rivers makes the land fertile, enriching even the sandy parts, essential for the Lambrusco production. The company, born in 1920, is largely a family-run winery and is now a constantly evolving reality that has made a name for itself as a leading Lambrusco Mantovano producer, creating highly individual wines thanks to a combination of quality, progress and tradition.
The manageable size of the company enables us to adopt a high quality product policy. Our aim is to improve the wine's organoleptic properties through advanced technologies, yet all the while respecting the characteristics of the product. Our attention for quality has been recognised in the most important wine competition, and our wines have been awarded with the "Oscar" Douja d'Or, "Gran Menzione" at the Vinitaly Wine competition and the "Diploma di Merito" at the Concorso Enologico Terre di Lambrusco.
Our wines are divided in two different lines - Serie Elite and Linea Torre - both characterised by eclectic and genuine wines, dry in taste, pleasently aromatic, different from the Lambrusco typical of the Reggio Emilia and Modena area. Our Serie Elite - where we find the most representative "Rosso dei Concari", "Sedamat", "Al Scagarun" - gathers together our products of excellence: wines with an intense and unique taste, still devoted to the ancient Mantuan tradition.
