Present on the market since the Seventies, G.B.M. set up its business with a small warehouse of 200 square meters, and has then come on a lot: in June 2006 the company inaugurated a new storehouse and achieved a total surface area of 3.000 square meters completely of property. The range of chemicals offered by G.B.M. includes:
products for dry-cleaning, such as detergents, softeners, auxiliaries and spotters for all kinds of stains; a wide line of products for leather treatment both in laundry and dry-cleaning, complete of all necessary auxiliaries; sprays like perfumes, colour revitalizers, starches and waterproofing agents; and finally a full range of products for laundry and wet-cleaning.
G.B.M. does not supply only chemical products, but also accessories like brushes, marking, ironing and packaging accessories.
Moreover, for more than a decade the firm has been producing zinc-coated drawn metal hangers and non-slip w.l trouser guards and has quickly become leading company in the field.
The installation of high-tech machines and automated systems for the production, collection and packaging of wire metal hangers allow a daily production of 500.000 units.
A special machine for the production of non-slip w.l trouser guards, a prototype unique of its kind, produces daily 450.000 units.
Since the Eighties G.B.M. ELETTROCHIMICA is distributor of perchloroethylene Dowper and is one of the few companies authorised by The Dow Chemical Company to fill up perc in approved and sealed metal drums.
In the underground of the latest warehouse are located two AISI 316L steel tanks, with a total capacity of 100 Tons. The underground has been completely built in
reinforced concrete to grant a uniform temperature lower than 20C.
The filling-up process in approved drums is a complete closed-loop process, that avoids exhalations in the atmosphere and is carried out by only one operator with a semi-automatic machine able to fill up daily up to 1500 drums of 23 kg each.

In order to pursue a policy of improvement, the business organisation of G.B.M. has been revised to grant a timely and qualitative answer, adequate to satisfy the requests of the most exacting customers and in 2000 the company obtained an important result, the UNI EN ISO 9001:2000.
