ITALICA Srl is a private owned Italian Company based in the Bologna area, in the years specialized in design, development and manufacture of-high-production Blade granulating machines for plastic material sizing process- made in Italy.The application of Granulators concerns the automatic volume reduction of plastic items to small grains (1 cm about), even large sized, by fine mechanical fragmentation process: the aim is to easily treat plastics to become suitable not only for recycling purposes (end-life goods re-conversion to new ones for environmental purpose and effective energy & cost-saving), but also to immediately re-insert scraps and just-produced plastic goods whether they are found defective in the automatic line process same.The ITALICA Co. own patent concerns the design of its heart, the milling blade-rotor: some blade sections are arranged on its power-shaft, turn adjustable for either helical, forward-wedge or reverse-wedge shapes by the User itself, according to production requirements.In such a way it is allowed to process any kind and shape (both hollow and solid) of plastic goods, (vegetable/fruit boxes, bottles, lube tanks, bulks, water/gas transport pipes/hoses, profiles, extrusion / hot stamping feedheads, flashes, and scraps, etc.) by keeping in same time the efficiency and productivity features at the top level: 1,500-2,500 kgs/hr (for the Ciclope 800 model) and 2,000-3,300 kgs/hr (for the Ciclope 1000 model) at least, depending on the kind plastics and the shape of plastic items to be treated.The biggest Ciclope 2000 model, currently under design process finalisation, is featured by wide hopper inlet of 2,5 x 1,2 mt approx. It will be suitable to allow introduction of very large workpieces, like urban waste collection bells, without any prior size reduction activity, featured by about 6-8 tons/hr of productivity.Optional automatic belt-conveyor may feed the granulator continuously by plastic materials to be processed through the hopper window. Metal detector may prevent failures to machine due to metal scraps/parts accidentally included into plastics and to pollute plastic quality by metal particle at same time.Optional pneumatic pipe conveyor system, flanged to the plastic granule collection pool, equipped of cyclone for centrifugal plastic granule and dust separation, is suitable to properly fill and store the product in big bags automatically.Optional soundproof wall cabin encloses the whole granulator body to keep reduced the grinding process noise, in case the machine will be located inside an industrial building.For further details, you are invited to visit the Co website www.italicagranulatori.it, available in English, French and Spanish, where a video shows a granulator in operation too.
