We are the traditional manufacturer of confectionery, founded in Kobe, in 1923. Makar Goncharoff, a founder, was White Russian, and he introduced "Romanov Chocolate" and his foreign technique to Japan. Goncharoff is famous for fancy chocolates, and it is said that our company has made "whiskey bonbon" for the first time in Japan. "Whiskey bonbon" is a kind of fancy chocolates filled with a spot of whiskey. At present, we deal in a variety of sweets, such as chocolates, cookies, candy, jelly, and assorted boxes of sweets.
Our mission is contribution to society by means of sweets. Therefore, we pay enough attention to customer's safety and satisfaction. We have two factories in Kobe, and most of our products are made in these. One of the efforts is seen in the fact that our products are strictly under the control of ISO 9001 QC system.
In Japan, we have a number of shops under the trading with major department stores and supermarket chains all over the country. In addition, we are dealing with some department stores in Asia, for example, Jiu Guang in Shanghai, Sogo in Taipei, Takashimaya in Shingapore. Our high-quality products are accepted widely.
