Since the toilet is an important place, we believe it should always be comfortable and pleasant.
We started off in the toilet business in 1975 and then shifted our focus from post-processing maintenance to the total management involving diagnosis, maintenance and control of toilets based on a preventive point of view. We set up Amenity in Yokohama in 1989 and have expanded our business through franchising ever since.
We have an assortment of products to make preventive maintenance possible. Our main role is to realize a comfortable toilet space by offering customers maintenance and control techniques, which generally begin with toilet diagnosis.
For example, for the product that prevents the toilets from becoming odorous and dirty due to urine and getting clogged, we select the most appropriate one for each toilet and continue to offer regular inspection in order to make sure the effect is maximized and other devices and equipment are operating normally.
In addition to products that are in line with the concept of preventive maintenance, we also offer cleaning products that could be used daily and equipment that helps people conserve water.
Furthermore, our company has been striving to improve the knowledge and skills of the employees through an in-house testing for toilet consultants. The testing is certified by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare.
Since the scope of our business involves preventive maintenance, which is totally different from symptomatic measures that deal with the issues after the toilets become odorous and dirty, the chemicals, materials and equipment we use are all eco-friendly. We have acquired the ISO 14001 certification for operating a business that is kind to the environment in all aspects.
It is universally true that humans want to do their business where it is clean and hygienic. Companies with various backgrounds, including state-run hospitals, electric railway companies, hotels and restaurants across Japan, have been adopting our system. We also have a branch in South Korea.
Together with the development of professional human resources that work in the toilet business, we have been creating new services in the upkeep and control of toilets focusing on preventive maintenance. We hope to contribute to the development of a comfortable toilet environment that takes into account each country's cultural needs.
