About the company:
We were founded as Heiwa Eisai, Co., Ltd., in Takayama City, Gifu Prefecture, in October, 1965.
Since our founding, we have continued to lead the Japanese cotton swab manufacturing industry, through our continual research and development efforts.
The first "black cotton swab" in Japan was also developed and manufactured by Heiwa Medic.
Over the years, we have won the trust of leading manufacturers in Japan in the field of sterile, medical cotton swabs. We have established a strong position as an OEM manufacturer, supplying our quality-assured products to national hospitals and large private hospitals.
In 2001, we took our first steps towards overseas expansion, by establishing Heiwa Medic Shanghai.
In 2007, we established a production base in Hanoi, Vietnam. Through this new base, we are now able not only to provide high quality products, but also to supply large quantities so that more customers can experience the satisfaction of using our products.

We hold the leading market share in the cotton swab industry .
For general cotton swabs, we have a share of about 35% of the market, and we ship to large convenience store chains, drug stores, home improvement centers, etc.
For medical cotton swabs, we are the largest manufacturer, with a share of about 50% of the market. We ship to large hygienic materials suppliers, pharmaceutical manufacturers, and large national/private hospitals in Japan.
In addition to our self-branded products, we also have a focus on OEM product manufacturing, and have received many orders from domestic manufacturers from various fields.
