Since our founding in 1900, we have continued to contribute to the improvement of food culture through the sale of alcoholic beverages. Currently, as the largest wholesaler of alcoholic beverages within Ibaraki Prefecture, we do business with 2,500 clients. We have approximately 20% of the market share in Ibaraki Prefecture, and carry 7,000 items. 90% of our revenue comes from the sale of alcoholic beverages, but we also carry other products and fixtures associated with alcohol.
We work with 35 Japanese sake brewers to stock 3,000 different brands of products, but we also have the ability to stock brands from other sake brewers.
We work with 20 producers of umeshu (a liqueur sometimes called "plum brandy") from whom we stock 100 brands. We also carry a wide variety of other alcoholic beverages from across Japan, including beers, whiskeys, brandies, shochu, liqueurs, and more. We can have almost any alcoholic beverage delivered to us. We also work with manufacturers who can create private and specially-labeled products, and handle other special requests.
We constantly strive to provide high-quality service, imagining future markets and keeping an eye on the present day while challenging ourselves going forward into the future.
