Founded in 1950, we have an established history, and our business has expanded from resin coating to other areas, including injection molding, blow molding, rotational molding, and vacuum molding. At the time of our founding in 1950, we started with aluminum ingots, and in 1963 we signed a supply license agreement with West German company Griesheim regarding fluidized bed coating methods, thereby launching a Japan-based fluidized bed coating business.
From 1968, automobile-related work such as injection molding and blow molding began to increase, so we introduced measuring equipment such as three-dimensional coordinate measuring machines, Amsler tensile testing machines, and magnifying projectors in order to achieve high quality standards. In 1986, we established our own metal molding plant to handle the manufacturing of automobile seats fully and quickly. As a processing manufacturer that handles development, we also develop the resin and composite materials in which our specialty lies. Previous materials we have developed include highly adhesive and highly light resistant resin powder, resin with high specific gravity (audio speakers), adhesive mats (earthquake proofing, medical applications), recycled paper with comparable strength to plastics (auto parts), and powdered conducting material (coating material). The majority of our injection molding and blow molding is for auto parts, particularly seat belt components.
Our coatings are used in applications such as laundry machine baskets, motorcycle baskets, and outdoor fences, and they possess the following characteristics:
1) wide processing temperature range with good capabilities to cover edges
2) good surface luster
3) highly weather resistant (no cracks after over 3,000 hours of sunshine weathering with rain)
4) highly adhesive without the use of primers etc. (adhesive strength against mild steel plate: kg/25 min: 12<)
5) anticorrosive
6) withstands low temperatures
7) no color irregularities
8) non-toxic
9) high surface hardness (JIS K 7215 standards; more than 50 on Shore D scale).
We can have discussions on flow distribution, bulk density, angle of repose, etc. of the powdered coating as production progresses. In terms of crushing methods, we employ methods such as mechanical milling and freeze grinding.
