In recent years, the number of cities and countries banning PS products has been increasing. Instead of using Freon and petroleum-based foaming agents, which have a bad impact on the environment, biodegradable resin and polylactic acid (PLA) can be used to produce foam products using a technique to foam PLA to the same extent as PSP. Using this process, environmentally conscious products can be produced to be almost as convenient as conventional plastic products.
Additionally, using supercritical inert gas foaming, it is possible to obtain foams with characteristics such as extremely minute bubble structure. The process is highly promising for production methods using new materials, which were not possible to implement using traditional materials.
The ultra-thin PET bottle molding/filling system is an integrated system that molds PET bottles that are approximately 7 g, which is extremely lightweight and thin-walled, being around 1/2 to 1/3 the weight of conventional bottles. The system also fills bottles with liquids such as water, attaches labels, and prints on the bottles.
This does not only reduce the amount of resin used, but also makes reducing the volume of the used, empty bottles extremely easy, thus reducing the environmental impact throughout the bottle's life cycle.
