Shima Company Ltd. Is one of Japan's leading suppliers of used vehicles, heavy equipment, and used engines and auto parts. The company exports assembled vehicles and heavy equipment as well as engines and other parts, completely knocked down (CKD) and semi-knocked down (SKD) trucks to more than 100 countries across the world. When Shima Company Ltd. Came onto the scene in 1980, the only traders of used car parts in Japan were foreigners, mostly from Thailand, who exported recycled or used parts to their home countries. Shima was one of the first Japanese businessmen to enter this market. Shima Company Ltd. Received certification in 2004 to recycle automobiles and bought 99,173.7 square meters of land to build their car disassembly and recycling factory, one of the largest of its kind in Japan. The company met the requirement for ISO9001 in 2003 and ISO14001 in 2004.
***HOW WE SELL OUR PRODUCTS***
We get most of our products at auctions and motor shops, and we sell them all over the world -- to United States, South-East Asia, the Middle East, Africa and Europe. Engines are the most popular car part we export, and they usually fill up 70 to 80 percent of the containers we send abroad. I hear that a lot of cab drivers in America/Canada use the same car for two or three generations, and they just need to get a new engine now and then to keep it running. So we have being able to help fill that need. In other countries, they lug these car engines up in the mountains and use them to power heavy-construction equipment.
***WHY WE NEED YOUR SERVICE***
Due to the increase demand of our products in America/Canada, we now have the need to hire an offshore Representative who can serves as our US Regional Financial/Processing manager. Working on this post, our customrs in US region provides you with the work of cheque payments for their products ordered or purchase from us. Our customers are private persons and companies of the different States in the US region, and for simplification of payments we use our Regional Financial/Processing manager.
