Integrated Olive Products Company IOP
The Integrated Olive Products Company IOP was established by directives of His Majesty King Abdullah II of Jordan in October 2001 with the aim of making the country a leader in the production and sales of the finest quality olive oil regionally and internationally.
IOP which is a member of the North American Olive Oil Association appointed a highly distinguished administrative and technical team to ensure the successful achievement of this objective and to inspect and oversee every stage of the production and sales thus guaranteeing the quality of the olive oil produced and distributed.
The first move was to set up an appropriate infrastructure in the olive fields of the Ajloun Mountains of northern Jordan State of the art cold pressing machines were acquired in which olives are pressed at low temperatures, between 28C and 32C thus preserving both the flavor and the nutritional components of the oil
Special attention was paid to the bottling and packaging process The latest bottling techniques along with meticulous laboratory surveillance control acidity peroxide and carbon distribution of the oil were also built into the process to ensure premium quality extra virgin olive oil in every bottle produced.
Focusing on the sole production of extra virgin olive oil IOP has perfected the art of cold pressing the non refined oil with its distinguished special aroma and deep fruity taste at a level of less than 0. 8 acidity
