The company ZITO STIP has existed on the Macedonian food market since 1996 when the first bakery for bread and bakeries production was opened in the centre of the town Stip. The production process has been improved and modernized in the following years with the introduction of the new equipment for bread production acquired from the famous manufacturer of food equipment, the Slovenian company Gostol Gopan.
In 2004, the management of the company has decided to diversify its activities into pasta production sector through building new production capacity and acquiring new equipment for pasta production. The new machines for high quality, durum wheat pasta production were acquired from the Italian company ITAL PAST, the European market leader for manufacturing pasta equipment.
The mission of the managerial team of ZITO STIP is ensuring excellent care for its target customers through producing and delivering high quality products, guaranteeing strict quality control of both, finished goods and the supplied raw materials used in the production processes, as well as ensuring the best possible hygiene and technological conditions for its employees according to the world standards. Currently, ZITO STIP produces premium pasta produced from the high quality durum wheat imported from Greece and Spain. Presently, the company manufactures three types of pasta: Macaroni, vermicelli and noodles for soup. The pasta ingredients include: Durum wheat, salt and water.
Macaroni are produces in four different shapes:
-(rigate penne)
-(penne)
-(rotelle, spirals )
-(elbow macaroni)
Macaroni and vermicelli are packed in packages of 400 gr and tagliatelle are in packages of 1 kilo.
Bread crumbs - produced from dried white bread T- 500 and packed in packages of 200 gr.
