Transglobe is the agricultural exporting arm of the tayub corporation. In its day to day activities, the firm exports locally grown produce such as pulses, beans, tea, coffee, sunflower seeds and various chillies worldwide. In addition to the export of raw commodities, transglobes' manufacturing plant based in the heart of limbe processes a variety of indian and oriental foods, also for export. On a domestic level, transglobe is very well known for supplies of commodities, particularly maize, and nutritional supplements to governmental sectors as well as un bodies such as the world food program(wfp), unhcr and other aid organisations. The firm has also established itself in the agricultural sector with regard to the supply and distribution of chemicals and fertiliser to the rural malawian economy.
