MUSC Food Industries Sdn Bhd "MUSC" was incorporated in late 2008 and only commercially operational in 2011 to undertake the business of producing and marketing the Sarawak local food pre-mixes such as the popular Sarawak Sambal Laksa Paste and Sarawak Sambal Belacan Paste just to name a few. The company came about as the result of a partnership by the directors with wide experience in food and packaging business and who has recognized the potential in further developing this segment of the business.
The company is registered with Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) and its agency namely MATRADE. MUSC is working in close collaboration with MATRADE to position MUSC products in the international arena.
The company has already secured the Halal certification from the Jabatan Kemajuan Islam Malatsia (JAKIM), Mesti certification from Malaysia Ministry of Health and in June 2014 has successfully gone through the audit for Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and ISO 9001 of which it should be receiving the certifications by early July 2014.
