Hang Tuah Furniture Sdn. Bhd. was established in April 1994.
We are long established sawmillers/manufacturers/exporters of woodbased products in Malaysia having a wholly owned timber complex which comprises: (1) a sawmilling plant with up to date sawmilling machineries capable of producing approx. 2,000m3 of sawn timber per month, (2) a kiln drying plant capable of producing approx. 1,000m3 of kiln dried sawn timber per month, (3) a moulding plant with up to date machineries capable of producing 1,200m3 of mouldings per month, (4) a furniture manufacturing plant with up to date woodworking machineries capable of producing 400 units of 40ft container of knockdown outdoor furniture per year, & (5) a door manufacturing plant with latest modern equipments capable of producing approx. 100 units of 40ft container of panel doors/framed & ledged doors,/stable doors/door & window frames .per year. We also undertake to produce knockdown outdoor furniture strictly according to customers own designs & specifications. Presently, we have a workforce of about 350 workers.
We specialize in the manufacture of high quality/superior workmanship knockdown outdoor furniture as well as framed & ledged doors, stable doors , door & window frames, furniture parts, deckings & floorings, finger joints & all types of general & profiled mouldings. We exercise very stringent quality control/inspections in the process of production from the time the raw materials are producd, at time of kiln drying, moulding, woodworking, assembling, packaging until the time the final products are loaded into the containers for shipments.
The timbers that are used in our production are processed from logs harvested under Malaysian Sustainable Forest Management plans, which comply with the International Tropical Timber Organisation (I.T.T.O.).
Our present main markets and main customers are Wal-Mart, Target, Home Depot & Rona Canada in North America, Lilo Leisure Products, Focus DIY Ltd & Woolworth in Europe, Bunnings Pty Ltd in Australia, Certosa Distributors & Alif Industries in South Africa.
We have been awarded ISO 9001:2000, ISO 14001:2004, FSC Chain of Custody & MTCC Chain of Custody, which certified that we have accordingly streamlined the business control as well as having conformed to overseas customers stringent quality & environmental protection requirements.
