The company is the pioneering efforts in 1947, by the father of the present chief executive officer/managing director. Until 1982, the main business revolved mainly around buying and selling coconut oil, copra and other byproducts of the coconut. During the successive years the company was able to have it's own coconut extraction plant.

In 1982 diversifying it's activities to the international markets to import of edible oil, sugar, fats, margarine & bakery ingredients, wheat flour, milk & whey powder and other edible commodities. The exports are mainly renowned sri lanka black tea in bulk, packed and personalized, edible oil products, desiccated coconut, coir fiber, coir pith & byproducts.
We have successfully been involved in the trading of commodities and over the years, have established contacts around the world and pooled our expertise and resources to help the growing needs of the country.
