Pro-fil, incorporated in 1993, has over the last ten years, gained a solid reputation in wastewater treatment using its cultured biological products. Pro-fil pioneered the application in industrial microbiology and is now specialized in biotechnology that will help solve many environmental waste hazards caused by our society.
Pro-fil based on its extensive background in research and development has gained vast experience in unique application methods of natural microorganism for a multitude of domestic, industrial, and agricultural applications. All the microbes contained in the pro-fil product line are naturally occurring and endemic to earth. None of the microbes are genetically altered. Each of the products will contain several different microbes that are particularly suited for the intended purpose.
Pro-fil products are composed of a synergistic blend of several types of enhanced and concentrated microbes that handle most organic contaminants typically found in association with the targeted waste substance. Pro-fil has the capability to produce customized products and these custom blend products have proven highly successful in combating unusual waste treatment situations.
The microbes used in the pro-fil product line are classified by the american type cultured collection(atcc)as class 1 organisms, which are, by definition:
Naturally occurring: occurs in nature, endemic to earth.
Non-pathogenic: non disease causing.
Non-opportunistic: will not cause disease in a compromised host.
