Comercializadora Columbia, S.A. de C.V. , was founded in 1991 by Jose Luis Sandoval, who after 12 years of experience in the National Association of Industrialists of Edible Oils and tallow "ANIAME," had a deep knowledge of the market, logistics and services for oil in Mexico.
Initially our efforts were focused on the commercialization of vegetable oils through the representation of various international firms but over the years these have been diversifying, which led us to create an area to meet business with white corn, wheat, feed grains, ingredients for the Commercial Feed Manufacturers Industry and oilseeds, currently our core businesses of domestic harvests occur with white corn and durum wheat.
Being increasingly involved in the cereals trading, Columbia established links with a significant number of companies in Mexico and abroad, which has allowed us to participate in a wide field of action, developing business relationships with national producers and international grain suppliers, likewise we have developed an infrastructure that allows us to have a presence in several states.
We currently offer a variety of services ranging from the financing of crops and promotion of contract farming of grains and cereals, to export grain and development of logistics and import of agricultural products.
