We, dexter Mould Technology, are a company based in The Netherlands that is specialized in the field of thermoforming: We develop thermoformed products, construct and build thermoforming tools and have large thermoforming machines to test and approve our tools.
As we are one of the leading toolmakers in Europe in the specific field of thermoforming, we have close partnerships with Kiefel, Gabler, Illig and WM in projects all over the world.
Our tools can be split into two fields:
Tools with steel rule knives, for machines varying from KMD-series, Varius, Focus, RDK(P)-line and FC-series (trays, clamshells, lids, salad bowls etc.).
Tilting tools for in-mould-cutting, for machines like KTR-series, M-series, the complete K-line and FT-series (drinking cup, cup with dome lid, water cups, Lid with straw cut)
We believe strongly that making the actual thermoforming tool is only a part of the total cycle of introducing a new product to the market, and therefore we have developed our knowledge not only in toolmaking, but also in product design and process know-how.
At dexter we have the possibility to run new tools and optimize your products at our Kiefel KMD85 for the steel-rule-knife-tools and Gabler M92XL for the tilting tools. On both production lines where we run all sorts of materials with pre-heater and shredder (PET, PP, PS, PLA etc.). We use these lines for running-in our tools, approve and optimize your products, run first production runs or small series (1.000 to 100.000 pcs), and provide you with our professional feedback.
We deliver tools all over the world, to many of the well-known thermoforming companies, of which most of them are long-time partners. Our technicians are not only trained for installing the tool, but also perform machine training, process optimisation, thermoform training and -of course- tool maintenance, all either at your site or at dexter MT.
